A duplicate of the original crew roster of the Georgia—tellingly, the age and “where born” categories are left blank for the entire crew. As will be seen in a later chapter, the nationalities of the crews of Confederate privateers would weigh heavily on European countries considering whether to give them safe harbor for coal and repairs. A separate log book, containing a letter, reveals the origin for each crew member.

The original crew roster was auctioned to a private buyer.
