“In 2018…”
I visited the Evangel VVF hospital in Nigeria in 2018. My time overlapped with Dr. George’s annual visit. On surgery days, I was able to observe procedures performed by Dr. George and by several other physicians, including Evangel’s lead surgeon, Sunday Lengmang. Narrative details in the “Red Roof” chapter of this afterword are drawn from my observations on those days.
